Like Minds, Like Mine

Description:

Forty seven per cent of New Zealanders will experience mental illness or distress in their lifetime. Most people will recover. Despite this, they are often discriminated against and excluded from everyday activities. This is one of the biggest barriers to recovery.

Like Minds, Like Mine is a public awareness programme to increase social inclusion and end discrimination towards people with experience of mental illness or distress. We’ve got ideas, practical tips and information about how you can make a difference in your community or workplace to create a healthier, more inclusive New Zealand.
