Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand

Description:

The Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand is a charity that works towards creating a society free from discrimination, where all people enjoy positive mental health & wellbeing. We provide free information and training, and advocate for policies and services that support people with experience of mental illness, and also their families/whānau and friends. We take a holistic approach to mental health, promoting what we know makes and keeps people mentally well.

We work to influence individuals, whanau, organisations and communities to improve and sustain their mental health and reach their full potential.

We provide information and resources on staying well, mental health conditions, where to get help and how to support those you love and care about. Although we are not a counselling or advice service, our information officers are happy to point you in the right direction to find help.
